Ten Chances to Win an E-Cigarette

Not from me i should add but from http://www.ecigarettedirect.co.uk

Comment on their blog and you could win! So many people say they will finally quit on January 1st but very few keep to it. I really do think the Ecig is the way to go. Get over the fact it's a bit heavier than a normal cigarette and give it a week and i'm sure you will be surprised and smoke free for the rest of 2012!

You have to be in it to win it, that saying is so true!. All you have to do is take a few seconds to tell them:

    * why you need an electronic cigarette
    * or, if you already use an e-cigarette, tell them why you would recommend it to a smoker

Bad Feeling & Competition reminder

We can't help but be aware that the Queen is off to visit the Republic of Ireland , especially with a bomb threat being aimed at London today. I actually have a really bad feeling about it. Not so much about the bomb threat but the whole thing. In fact i wish the Queen would change her mind and not go. There has got to be a point when the risk is too great.

Don't get me wrong i will be hoping praying that it goes off without incident but i can't help but have a bad feeling in my gut about it.

Anyway enough of my "gut" and on to the subject of my giveaway. It closes tomorrow evening. A winner will be drawn, regardless of the amount of people who have/ haven't entered. At this moment in time there is a very good chance of winning. The prize is £10 credit to spend on http://www.funkimunkibadges.co.uk/

It takes no more than a few minutes to enter > Enter competition here

You could use the credit to get badges for birthdays, hen/ stag nights, anniversaries, school teachers, ect ect.

This is a short one tonight because i have loads to do but i haven't forgotten about the song of the day which is Lady Gaga - Born This Way

Giveaways and competitions = prizes

It seems i am struggling to give away anything for free as my giveaway for credit to spend on http://www.funkimunkibadges.co.uk/ has minimal entries and yes i know it doesn't close yet but can i panic? Just a little bit?

If you didn't know i was having a giveaway you can read about it here
http://pickingoranges.blogspot.com/2011/04/my-first-giveaway.html

I even blasted ahead and came up with 3 months supply of coffee for my next giveaway. Not as lovely as the badges but it might help to wake you up in the mornings! :)

Though for me to have a 2nd giveaway i will need to know that giveaways or competitions for prizes work when you are doing it via a blog. Unfortunatly as i'm not a company and this is only a new blog these prizes cannot be of huge value as quite frankly i cannot afford it. Though it is nice to give away a little something to those who don't mind me boring them with my rants and ramblings about this, that and everything inbetween.

Anyway if you're reading this and would like to win some credit to spend on the huge variety of badges that are available please follow my blog and make a post to the giveaway which is linked above. It takes less than a few minutes! (promise!)

Booking a Summer Holiday

This year i can't take my son out of school on term time as he has mock exams and i don't fancy being brought in front of the head and feeling like a naughty schoolgirl (oh i remember those days so well!)

So i booked a holiday in North Wales in the Summer holidays. I have to love the inflation of a few hundred pounds just because you have to go at a conveniant time of the year for children who have exams coming up. We went away for four days last year and i felt like my children were paying the price for it on their reports "You should try and obtain better attendance" They have between 94-96% but no in this day and age obviously that's just not good enough. They must of had the 5 days off for our holiday (one day was travelling home) and 1-2 days off sick. It's silly really. I feel quite sorry for the teachers who have no choice but to go in term time.

No doubt we will all have a wonderful time and i will enjoy not having to cook and it will all be worth it in the end but until then i will moan about the price charged for those of us who have no option but to go on holiday at peak time or just forget having a holiday at all..which is what it will come to if petrol prices keep increasing.

Whinge over..well for now at least.

P.S. Don't forget to enter the competiton / giveaway on my blog http://pickingoranges.blogspot.com/2011/04/my-first-giveaway.html You stand a very good chance of winning seeing as this is the 1st giveaway.
